Assam tea how is it made?

Assam is a Black tea that is made from the same plant as green tea and white tea. Organic Assam tea is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant. It originates from the Assam district of India and Sri Lanka. Assam tea is heavily oxidized compared to green tea and white tea. The tea leaves are exposed to air after they have been plucked. This creates the dark color of the tea leaves and makes the flavor more complex and intense.
